Some new bonus points UP

I just posted a few bonus points for:

1. Operation Green Protein, and
2. automatically for "Velociraptors or super-spiders"

Velociraptor of super-spider BONUS

We are going to try out the Webcourses "Assignment" tool for doing our writing tasks, at least for now.

So I set up a bonus assignment called Velociraptors or super-spiders? in which I want everyone to try posting a few sentences. It is in Module 1 part A.

It is only one bonus point, so have fun. Any old sentence will work, even your patented technique for hijacking free donuts. ;)

Concept guide master plan

I just made up a blurb sheet about how the concept guides give shape to all we do. They are the nucleus of the coursework. It is in the course menu, left side, with this icon.

ABOUT OPERATION GREEN PROTEIN

It is always nice to start with some bonus points, thereby placing your grade temporarily at the top of the charts. So I have set up a small bonus assignment, Operation Green Protein, inside Learning Module 1 part A. It is a little worksheet type of thingy that the librarians have cooked up, runs good, and it covers plagiarism and how to avoid it. Read a little, take some practice, read some more, take some practice, finish reading, take the quiz .. the "assessment".

I will be able to see the highest score out of four attempts on its 10 questions. Get this done before July 7th and it will earn you bonus points: two bonus points if you max out on the quiz. I will upload the bonus points to Webcourses on July 7 or so.

GO FOR IT!

P.S. This bonus task has nothing to do with protein that is green or any other color! I just like the way the two words rhyme.

Log in to WebCourses at UCF, and find our course, PSC1121 - 08Summer_BW62. Then look on its home page for the first two weeks' study and reading activity in Module 1. Its icon is a multi-color disk with the numeral 1 in white.
