Writing Task 1A, items 1 and 2

Here we go.

I just activated

1. Writing Task 1A, item 1, and
2. Writing Task 1A, item 2.

Look for them in Learning Module 1 part A. They are one-sentence tasks, 5 points each, due 11:59 July 7. There is a variety of each task. Webcourses will assign you your two tasks randomly:

• three types of item 1, and you'll get one of them at random;
• two types of item 2: "net forces" and "fuzzy dice" -- one of which you'll get at random.

These are one sentence tasks, to be graded with the writing rubrics published in our Webcourses area, and I will mark them down as zero if you write more than one sentence. I am a savage grader, so make that one sentence a winner.

Note: each item uses a different Webcourses method. Item 1 uses the Assessment method; item 2 uses the Assignment method. Writing Task 1B in next week's module will probably use the TurnItIn methods built into Webcourses. By Next week, I hope to have TurnItIn completely dominated and ready to use for the rest of the semester. So stay tuned for more writing work next week and the weeks following that.
