Ten degrees
It is interesting to view the tilt angle of the space shuttle main engines.
In this NASA video, you can see about ten degrees of tilt away from the central axis. Think of why this must be done when the solid rocket boosters are still strapped on. Lots of physics concepts show up in this one video.

Webcal to which you can subscribe
I set up a simple calendar for the class, and I published it to me.com, the Apple site. There is a link to it on our home page now, too, and you can subscribe to it if you have a calendar app. I will be adding blurbs to it as we go through the semester, but for now the data extends up to the week of Exam 2. Eventually, I will load up blurbs extending to Exam 3 and then extending to the final exam.
Let me know how you like it.
